# Upgrade

### Pixel Extractor Upgrades

The Pixel Extractor can be enhanced up to 3 levels.

#### To unlock the first level of the Extractor, you need to:

* Reach level 5 of the user profile.
* A **Energy Cell** item

Once you have access to the Creator, you will be able to create [**Interdimensional Shift Boxes**](https://docs.hellopixel.network/gamification/pixel-extractor/interdimensional-shift-boxes).

Upon opening a box (which can be done either in the inventory or immediately upon collected), you will randomly receive a reward.

#### **To upgrade the Extractor to level 2, you require:**

* User profile level 7
* 100 pixel tokens
* An **Extractor Booster** item

#### **To upgrade the Extractor to level 3, you require:**

* User profile level 10
* 500 pixel tokens
* A **Nuclear Battery** item
